Kubotamachi hatsu-maru-ni
The Kubota Town fishing grounds, nestled between the Rokkaku River and the Kase River which flow through the central part of Saga Prefecture, are rapidly gaining fans for being a place where, once you eat their produce, "you won't forget it". The seaweed has a striking umami flavor that hits you the moment it’s in your mouth, coupled with a light and soft texture. This year too, seaweed with a flavor that spreads like broth has been produced.
<Recommended ways to eat>
【With white rice】Simply, pair it with white rice. While savoring the sweetness of the rice, the umami of the seaweed spreads.
【With Gouda cheese】The melt-in-your-mouth seaweed pairs well with Gouda cheese. The richness of the cheese and the soft umami of the seaweed make a great match.
