[37] Ryokai shun-ju-ichi
Ryokai shun-ju-ichi, harvested along the Chikugo River in Fukuoka Prefecture. In addition to its crispy, light bite, it is also characterized by an exceptional melt-in-your-mouth softness, which is rare for the 'heavy' grade harvested in Fukuoka. While having a refreshing green scent unique to the seaweed harvested at the Ryokai fishing grounds, the sweet umami gently spreads in the mouth.
<Recommended ways to eat>
【With cream cheese】Since the seaweed is crispy, it can be used instead of crackers or baguettes.
【With prosciutto】As the seaweed has a strong fragrance and a good melt-in-your-mouth texture, it matches well with the saltiness of prosciutto.
